New England Defeats Miami 41-14 - Recap

The battle between the Patriots and Dolphins didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Miami was handed a 41-14 defeat on Monday at Sun Life Stadium.

New England was an underdog by 1 point and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 48.5.

Tom Brady completed 19 of 24 pass attempts for 153 yards and 1 TD for the Patriots in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Ricky Williams rushed for 56 yards for Miami, while Ronnie Brown added 27 yards. Chad Henne threw for 302 yards for the Dolphins, while receivers Davone Bess and Anthony Fasano had 93 and 67 yards respectively.

New England was outgained by Miami 400-265 yards in Monday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 23-19 by the Dolphins.

New England lost the time of possession battle 32:17/27:43, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

New England heads into a Week 6 battle against the Ravens. Miami, meanwhile, will have their next action against Green Bay.
