Rams Fall 18-17 Against Tampa Bay - Game Recap

Tampa Bay earned a 18-17 victory over St. Louis on Sunday in Week 7 action at Raymond James Stadium.

The Buccaneers earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 3-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 39.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Josh Freeman completed 23 of 40 pass attempts for 212 yards and 1 TD for the Buccaneers in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Steven Jackson rushed for 110 yards for St. Louis, while Danny Amendola added 21 yards. Sam Bradford threw for 126 yards for the Rams, while receivers Steven Jackson and Danny Amendola had 35 and 29 yards respectively.

St. Louis lost the offensive yardage battle to Tampa Bay 313-285 yards in Sunday's game. St. Louis had more first downs as that total ended up 19-17.

St. Louis lost the time of possession battle 31:19/28:41, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Tampa Bay takes its act on the road to face Arizona looking for another win. For St. Louis, they head home to face Carolina.
