Cardinals Fall 38-35 Against Tampa Bay - Game Recap

LeGarrette Blount tore up the turf for 120 rushing yards on Sunday to lead the Buccaneers to a 38-35 win over the Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium.

The Buccaneers were a 3-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 37.5.

Josh Freeman completed 18 of 25 pass attempts for 278 yards and 1 TD for the Buccaneers in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Beanie Wells rushed for 50 yards for Arizona, while LaRod Stephens-Howling added 41 yards. Derek Anderson threw for 234 yards for the Cardinals, while receivers Steve Breaston and Larry Fitzgerald had 147 and 72 yards respectively.

Arizona was outgained by Tampa Bay 407-396 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-19 by the Cardinals.

The time of possession battle favored Tampa Bay as their offense was on the field for 30:29, longer than the 29:31 of their opponents.

Tampa Bay heads into a Week 9 battle against the Falcons. Arizona, meanwhile, will have their next action against Minnesota.
