Eagles vs Colts Final: 26-24 - Recap

DeSean Jackson inflicted damage on the Indianapolis secondary, getting 109 receiving yards as Philadelphia defeated the Colts 26-24 at Lincoln Financial Field.

Philadelphia won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the 3-point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 46.5.

Michael Vick completed 17 of 29 pass attempts for 218 yards and 1 TD for the Eagles in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Donald Brown rushed for 50 yards for Indianapolis, while Javarris James added 12 yards. Peyton Manning threw for 294 yards for the Colts, while receivers Jacob Tamme and Reggie Wayne had 108 and 83 yards respectively.

Indianapolis was outgained by Philadelphia 402-338 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 26-19 by the Colts.

The time of possession battle favored Philadelphia as their offense was on the field for 31:50, longer than the 28:10 of their opponents.

Next game, Philadelphia takes its act on the road to face Washington looking for another win. For Indianapolis, they head home to face Cincinnati.
