Recap - Broncos Defeat Kansas City 49-29

The Broncos got a 4-TD performance from Kyle Orton as Denver handed Kansas City a 49-29 defeat on Sunday at INVESCO Field at Mile High.

Denver was an underdog by 1 point and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 44.5.

Knowshon Moreno rushed for 106 yards, while Eddie Royal added 20 yards in the win. Brandon Lloyd and Jabar Gaffney added 90 and 57 receiving yards respectively.

Jamaal Charles rushed for 41 yards for Kansas City, while Jackie Battle added 4 yards. Matt Cassel threw for 469 yards for the Chiefs, while receivers Dwayne Bowe and Jamaal Charles had 186 and 80 yards respectively.

Kansas City outgained Denver 484-452 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 30-25 by the Chiefs.

Denver lost the time of possession battle 31:51/28:09, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Denver takes its act on the road to face San Diego looking for another win. For Kansas City, they head home to face Arizona.
