Patriots vs Bears Final: 36-7 - Recap

Tom Brady was good for 369 yards through the air on Sunday as the Patriots got past the Bears by a score of 36-7 at Soldier Field.

New England won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 3-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 37.5.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis rushed for 87 yards, while Danny Woodhead added 21 yards in the win. Deion Branch and Wes Welker added 151 and 115 receiving yards respectively.

Matt Forte rushed for 25 yards for Chicago, while Jay Cutler added 21 yards. Jay Cutler threw for 152 yards for the Bears, while receivers Earl Bennett and Matt Forte had 53 and 36 yards respectively.

New England outgained Chicago 475-185 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 27-12 by the Patriots.

Chicago lost the time of possession battle 39:41/20:19, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

New England looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Packers. The Bears will aim to get back on the winning track at Minnesota.
