Baltimore Defeats New Orleans 30-24 - Recap

Ray Rice scampered through the New Orleans defense for 153 yards as Baltimore handed the Saints a 30-24 defeat on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium.

Baltimore won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 2-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 45.5.

Joe Flacco completed 10 of 20 pass attempts for 172 yards and 2 TDs for the Ravens in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Pierre Thomas rushed for 20 yards for New Orleans, while Julius Jones added 11 yards. Drew Brees threw for 267 yards for the Saints, while receivers Marques Colston and Devery Henderson had 80 and 53 yards respectively.

New Orleans was outgained by Baltimore 356-269 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 21-17 by the Saints.

The time of possession battle favored Baltimore as their offense was on the field for 31:29, longer than the 28:31 of their opponents.

Next game, Baltimore takes its act on the road to face Cleveland looking for another win. For New Orleans, they head on the road to face Atlanta.
