Minnesota Falls 40-14 to Bears - Recap

The Bears got a 3-TD performance from Jay Cutler as Chicago handed Minnesota a 40-14 defeat on Monday at TCF Bank Stadium.

Chicago was the ATS victor, as they covered the 5.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 34.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Matt Forte rushed for 92 yards, while Garrett Wolfe added 8 yards in the win. Johnny Knox and Earl Bennett added 78 and 37 receiving yards respectively.

Toby Gerhart rushed for 77 yards for Minnesota, while Joe Webb added 38 yards. Joe Webb threw for 129 yards for the Vikings, while receivers Percy Harvin and Visanthe Shiancoe had 72 and 41 yards respectively.

Chicago outgained Minnesota 293-273 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 17-16 by the Bears.

Minnesota lost the time of possession battle 31:30/28:30, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Chicago looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Jets. The Vikings will aim to get back on the winning track at Philadelphia.
