Dolphins Fall 34-27 Against Detroit - Game Recap

The Lions got a 2-TD performance from Shaun Hill as Detroit handed Miami a 34-27 defeat on Sunday at Sun Life Stadium.

The Lions were a 3.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 41.5.

Jahvid Best rushed for 24 yards, while Maurice Morris added 22 yards in the win. Brandon Pettigrew and Jahvid Best added 74 and 53 receiving yards respectively.

Ricky Williams rushed for 71 yards for Miami, while Ronnie Brown added 37 yards. Chad Henne threw for 278 yards for the Dolphins, while receivers Brandon Marshall and Mickey Shuler had 102 and 44 yards respectively.

Detroit was outgained by Miami 425-275 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 28-14 by the Dolphins.

Detroit lost the time of possession battle 37:15/22:45, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Detroit takes its act home to face Minnesota looking for another win. For Miami, they head on the road to face New England.
