Recap - Bengals Defeat San Diego 34-20

Carson Palmer scorched the Chargers defense for 4 TDs as Cincinnati defeated San Diego 34-20 on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.

Cedric Benson rushed for 52 yards, while Bernard Scott added 50 yards in the win. Jerome Simpson and Andre Caldwell added 124 and 87 receiving yards respectively.

Ryan Mathews rushed for 55 yards for San Diego, while Darren Sproles added 8 yards. Philip Rivers threw for 256 yards for the Chargers, while receivers Legedu Naanee and Darren Sproles had 59 and 55 yards respectively.

San Diego lost the offensive yardage battle to Cincinnati 371-313 yards in Sunday's game. San Diego had more first downs as that total ended up 23-18.

The time of possession battle favored Cincinnati as their offense was on the field for 30:09, longer than the 29:51 of their opponents.

Cincinnati looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Ravens. The Chargers will aim to get back on the winning track at Denver.
