San Diego Defeats Dallas 20-7 - Recap

The Chargers were P2 winners on Sunday, coming out on top of the Cowboys by a score of 20-7 at Cowboys Stadium.

The Chargers were a 1-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 40.5.

Philip Rivers completed 8 of 11 pass attempts for 92 yards and 1 TD for the Chargers in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Felix Jones rushed for 56 yards for Dallas, while Phillip Tanner added 31 yards. Stephen McGee threw for 157 yards for the Cowboys, while receivers Manuel Johnson and Martellus Bennett had 35 and 33 yards respectively.

Dallas outgained San Diego 313-239 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 23-18 by the Cowboys.

The time of possession battle favored Dallas as their offense was on the field for 30:39, longer than the 29:21 of their opponents.

Next game, San Diego takes its act on the road to face Arizona looking for another win. For Dallas, they head on the road to face Minnesota.
