New England vs Detroit Recap - Lions Win 34-10

Detroit cruised to victory on Saturday, as they ran up a 34-10 score against New England in P3 action at Ford Field.

Detroit won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 3-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 44.5.

Matthew Stafford completed 12 of 14 pass attempts for 200 yards and 2 TDs for the Lions in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Danny Woodhead rushed for 28 yards for New England, while BenJarvus Green-Ellis added 18 yards. Tom Brady threw for 145 yards for the Patriots, while receivers Wes Welker and Matthew Slater had 71 and 53 yards respectively.

Detroit outgained New England 468-353 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 24-16 by the Lions.

New England lost the time of possession battle 33:08/26:52, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Detroit takes its act on the road to face Buffalo looking for another win. For New England, they head home to face New York.
