Chicago vs New Orleans Recap - Saints Win 30-13

The Saints got a 3-TD performance from Drew Brees as New Orleans handed Chicago a 30-13 defeat on Sunday at Louisiana Superdome.

The Saints were a 4.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 46.5.

Mark Ingram rushed for 51 yards, while Pierre Thomas added 41 yards in the win. Devery Henderson and Jimmy Graham added 103 and 79 receiving yards respectively.

Matt Forte rushed for 49 yards for Chicago, while Jay Cutler added 12 yards. Jay Cutler threw for 244 yards for the Bears, while receivers Matt Forte and Johnny Knox had 117 and 45 yards respectively.

Chicago lost the offensive yardage battle to New Orleans 382-246 yards in Sunday's game. Chicago had more first downs as that total ended up 18-16.

The time of possession battle favored New Orleans as their offense was on the field for 36:14, longer than the 23:46 of their opponents.

Next game, New Orleans takes its act home to face Houston looking for another win. For Chicago, they head home to face Green Bay.
