Arizona Falls 22-21 to Redskins - Recap

Washington got 2 scoring strikes from Rex Grossman en route to a 22-21 victory over Arizona on Sunday in Week 2 action at FedExField.

The Redskins earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 4.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 45.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Tim Hightower rushed for 96 yards, while Roy Helu added 74 yards in the win. Fred Davis and Jabar Gaffney added 86 and 62 receiving yards respectively.

Beanie Wells rushed for 93 yards for Arizona, while Chester Taylor added 0 yards. Kevin Kolb threw for 251 yards for the Cardinals, while receivers Larry Fitzgerald and Jeff King had 133 and 36 yards respectively.

Arizona lost the offensive yardage battle to Washington 455-324 yards in Sunday's game. Washington had more first downs as that total ended up 28-16.

Arizona lost the time of possession battle 38:30/21:30, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Washington looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Cowboys. The Cardinals will aim to get back on the winning track at Seattle.
