Cincinnati Falls 24-22 to Broncos - Recap

Cincinnati was unable to contain Willis McGahee on Sunday and the result was a 24-22 Week 2 loss against the Broncos.

Denver won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the 3-point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 40.5.

Kyle Orton completed 15 of 25 pass attempts for 195 yards and 2 TDs for the Broncos in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Cedric Benson rushed for 59 yards for Cincinnati, while Bernard Scott added 10 yards. Andy Dalton threw for 332 yards for the Bengals, while receivers Jerome Simpson and A.J. Green had 136 and 124 yards respectively.

Denver was outgained by Cincinnati 382-318 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 19-18 by the Broncos.

The time of possession battle favored Denver as their offense was on the field for 30:15, longer than the 29:45 of their opponents.

Denver looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Titans. The Bengals will aim to get back on the winning track vs San Francisco.
