Falcons vs Eagles Final: 35-31 - Recap

Matt Ryan scorched the Eagles defense for 4 TDs as Atlanta defeated Philadelphia 35-31 on Sunday at Georgia Dome.

Atlanta won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 1-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 50.5.

Michael Turner rushed for 114 yards, while Jacquizz Rodgers added 17 yards in the win. Tony Gonzalez and Michael Turner added 83 and 32 receiving yards respectively.

LeSean McCoy rushed for 95 yards for Philadelphia, while Michael Vick added 25 yards. Michael Vick threw for 242 yards for the Eagles, while receivers Jeremy Maclin and Brent Celek had 171 and 43 yards respectively.

Atlanta was outgained by Philadelphia 447-318 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 27-20 by the Eagles.

The time of possession battle favored Philadelphia as their offense was on the field for 30:03, longer than the 29:57 of their opponents.

Next game, Atlanta takes its act on the road to face Tampa Bay looking for another win. For Philadelphia, they head home to face New York.
