New York Defeats St. Louis 28-16 - Recap

The Giants got a 2-TD performance from Eli Manning as New York handed St. Louis a 28-16 defeat on Monday at MetLife Stadium.

New York was a favorite by 7 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 43.5.

Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 59 yards, while Brandon Jacobs added 50 yards in the win. Mario Manningham and Ahmad Bradshaw added 56 and 45 receiving yards respectively.

Carnell Williams rushed for 36 yards for St. Louis, while Sam Bradford added 15 yards. Sam Bradford threw for 331 yards for the Rams, while receivers Danario Alexander and Mike Sims-Walker had 122 and 92 yards respectively.

St. Louis outgained New York 367-300 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 22-14 by the Giants.

St. Louis lost the time of possession battle 34:12/25:48, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, New York takes its act on the road to face Philadelphia looking for another win. For St. Louis, they head home to face Baltimore.
