Vikings Fall 22-17 Against Kansas City - Game Recap

The Vikings were burned by Dwayne Bowe for 107 receiving yards on Sunday as the Chiefs picked up a 22-17 win at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs were a 3-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 40.5.

Matt Cassel completed 18 of 29 pass attempts for 260 yards and 1 TD for the Chiefs in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Adrian Peterson rushed for 80 yards for Minnesota, while Percy Harvin added 67 yards. Donovan McNabb threw for 202 yards for the Vikings, while receivers Visanthe Shiancoe and Kyle Rudolph had 58 and 44 yards respectively.

Minnesota was outgained by Kansas City 350-341 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 17-15 by the Vikings.

Minnesota led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:10/27:50 split in that important category.

Next game, Kansas City takes its act on the road to face Indianapolis looking for another win. For Minnesota, they head home to face Arizona.
