Patriots vs Jets Final: 30-21 - Recap

Tom Brady sliced and diced the Jets defense for 321 yards and 1 TD as New England handed New York a 30-21 defeat on Sunday at Gillette Stadium.

New England won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 7.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 50.5.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis rushed for 136 yards, while Stevan Ridley added 13 yards in the win. Wes Welker and Deion Branch added 124 and 74 receiving yards respectively.

Shonn Greene rushed for 83 yards for New York, while LaDainian Tomlinson added 13 yards. Mark Sanchez threw for 166 yards for the Jets, while receivers Santonio Holmes and Plaxico Burress had 60 and 42 yards respectively.

New York was outgained by New England 446-255 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 26-14 by the Patriots.

The time of possession battle favored New England as their offense was on the field for 33:55, longer than the 26:05 of their opponents.

New England heads into a Week 6 battle against the Cowboys. New York, meanwhile, will have their next action against Miami.
