Pittsburgh vs Cincinnati Recap - Steelers Win 24-17

Rashard Mendenhall scored twice as Pittsburgh earned a 24-17 win over Cincinnati in football action on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.

The Steelers were a 3.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 40.5.

Ben Roethlisberger completed 21 of 33 pass attempts for 245 yards and 1 TD for the Steelers in the win. He was picked off 1 time by the Bengals defense.

Cedric Benson rushed for 57 yards for Cincinnati, while Bernard Scott added 38 yards. Andy Dalton threw for 170 yards for the Bengals, while receivers Andrew Hawkins and A.J. Green had 56 and 36 yards respectively.

Cincinnati lost the offensive yardage battle to Pittsburgh 328-279 yards in Sunday's game. Pittsburgh had more first downs as that total ended up 24-14.

The time of possession battle favored Pittsburgh as their offense was on the field for 33:53, longer than the 26:07 of their opponents.

Next game, Pittsburgh takes its act on the road to face Kansas City looking for another win. For Cincinnati, they head on the road to face Baltimore.
