The Bears won this game as 3-point underdogs at home and gave Buffalo their first loss in the preseason. The combined score fell UNDER the posted total (36.5).

Kyle Orton was 7-for-11 for 74 yards and a touchdown, while Chad Hutchinson struggled for the Bears, completing only 3-of-14 passes for 33 yards and got picked off twice.

Kelly Holcombe went 8-for-12 for 96 yards with no touchdowns and Willis McGahee rushed for 61 yards on 13 carries in the loss for the Bills.
