Bears beat Vikings in sloppy affair
The Chicago Bears overcame five turnovers by forcing five from the Minnesota Vikings, and they got a 45-yard punt return from Devin Hester in a 23-13 win at Soldier Field on Sunday.
The Bears covered the 9-point spread at home, and the 36 combined points were OVER the posted total of 34.5.
Rex Grossman had a terrible day, going 6-for-19 for 34 yards and three interceptions. Cedric Benson had 60 yards and a score on nine carries for the Bears.
Brad Johnson was harassed into a 11-for-26 performance for 73 yards, and was picked off four times, with one returned for a touchdown. Chester Taylor ran 17 times for 99 yards for the Vikings.
