Seattle Defeats Philadelphia 31-14 - Recap

Seattle got a 148-yard performance from Marshawn Lynch as a key part of its 31-14 victory over the Eagles on Thursday at CenturyLink Field.

The Seahawks were a 3-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 43.5.

Tarvaris Jackson completed 13 of 16 pass attempts for 190 yards and 1 TD for the Seahawks in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

LeSean McCoy rushed for 84 yards for Philadelphia, while Vince Young added 32 yards. Vince Young threw for 208 yards for the Eagles, while receivers Riley Cooper and LeSean McCoy had 94 and 49 yards respectively.

Philadelphia was outgained by Seattle 347-330 yards in Thursday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 20-15 by the Eagles.

The time of possession battle favored Seattle as their offense was on the field for 30:20, longer than the 29:40 of their opponents.

Seattle looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Rams. The Eagles will aim to get back on the winning track at Miami.
