Patriots vs Colts Final: 31-24 - Recap

The Colts were burned by Wes Welker for 114 receiving yards on Sunday as the Patriots picked up a 31-24 win at Gillette Stadium.

The Patriots earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 20-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 48.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Tom Brady completed 29 of 38 pass attempts for 293 yards and 2 TDs for the Patriots in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Donald Brown rushed for 41 yards for Indianapolis, while Joseph Addai added 39 yards. Dan Orlovsky threw for 353 yards for the Colts, while receivers Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie had 150 and 70 yards respectively.

New England lost the offensive yardage battle to Indianapolis 437-366 yards in Sunday's game. Indianapolis had more first downs as that total ended up 26-24.

New England lost the time of possession battle 35:39/24:21, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

New England looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Redskins. The Colts will aim to get back on the winning track at Baltimore.
