Recap - Jaguars Defeat Tampa Bay 41-14

The battle between the Jaguars and Buccaneers didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Tampa Bay was handed a 41-14 defeat on Sunday at EverBank Field.

Jacksonville was the ATS victor, as they covered the 2.5-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 42.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Blaine Gabbert completed 19 of 33 pass attempts for 217 yards and 2 TDs for the Jaguars in the win. He was picked off 2 times by the Buccaneers defense.

LeGarrette Blount rushed for 74 yards for Tampa Bay, while Josh Freeman added 26 yards. Josh Freeman threw for 181 yards for the Buccaneers, while receivers Kellen Winslow and Preston Parker had 38 and 35 yards respectively.

Tampa Bay lost the offensive yardage battle to Jacksonville 325-280 yards in Sunday's game. Jacksonville had more first downs as that total ended up 21-15.

Jacksonville led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:49/27:11 split in that important category.

Next game, Jacksonville takes its act on the road to face Atlanta looking for another win. For Tampa Bay, they head home to face Dallas.
