The battle between the Seahawks and Bears didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Chicago was handed a 38-14 defeat on Sunday at Soldier Field.

The Seahawks were a 3.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 34.5.

Tarvaris Jackson completed 19 of 31 pass attempts for 227 yards and 1 TD for the Seahawks in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Kahlil Bell rushed for 65 yards for Chicago, while Caleb Hanie added 34 yards. Caleb Hanie threw for 111 yards for the Bears, while receivers Kahlil Bell and Dane Sanzenbacher had 43 and 26 yards respectively.

Chicago was outgained by Seattle 286-221 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 18-13 by the Seahawks.

Chicago lost the time of possession battle 31:37/28:23, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Seattle looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the 49ers. The Bears will aim to get back on the winning track at Green Bay.
