Chicago Falls 31-3 to Broncos - Recap

The battle between the Broncos and Bears didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Chicago was handed a 31-3 defeat on Thursday at Soldier Field.

Bettors who backed the Broncos were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as an underdog of 3 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go UNDER the closing total of 34.5.

Caleb Hanie completed 7 of 14 pass attempts for 79 yards and 0 TDs for the Broncos in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Lorenzo Booker rushed for 12 yards for Chicago, while Kahlil Bell added 11 yards. Josh McCown threw for 56 yards for the Bears, while receivers Alshon Jeffery and Chris Summers had 35 and 28 yards respectively.

Chicago was outgained by Denver 338-132 yards in Thursday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 25-8 by the Broncos.

The time of possession battle favored Denver as their offense was on the field for 33:37, longer than the 26:23 of their opponents.

Denver looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Seahawks. The Bears will aim to get back on the winning track vs Washington.
