Raiders Fall 31-27 Against Arizona - Game Recap

The Cardinals were Preseason Week 2 winners on Friday, coming out on top of the Raiders by a score of 31-27 at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Arizona did not, however, defeat the Raiders against the spread, which closed at 6.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 37.5.

Ryan Lindley completed 5 of 10 pass attempts for 84 yards and 0 TDs for the Cardinals in the win. He was picked off 1 time by the Raiders defense.

Lonyae Miller rushed for 54 yards for Oakland, while Darren McFadden added 34 yards. Carson Palmer threw for 107 yards for the Raiders, while receivers Rod Streater and Juron Criner had 43 and 26 yards respectively.

Arizona was outgained by Oakland 284-222 yards in Friday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-15 by the Raiders.

Oakland led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 35:21/24:39 split in that important category.

Arizona looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Titans. The Raiders will aim to get back on the winning track vs Detroit.
