Philadelphia Defeats Cleveland 27-10 - Recap

Philadelphia got 2 scoring strikes from Nick Foles en route to a 27-10 victory over Cleveland on Friday in Preseason Week 3 action at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

The Eagles were a 5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 37.5.

Chris Polk rushed for 39 yards, while Bryce Brown added 18 yards in the win. Damaris Johnson and Brett Brackett added 58 and 34 receiving yards respectively.

Brandon Jackson rushed for 34 yards for Cleveland, while Montario Hardesty added 12 yards. Brandon Weeden threw for 117 yards for the Browns, while receivers Josh Gordon and Rod Windsor had 50 and 24 yards respectively.

Cleveland was outgained by Philadelphia 328-249 yards in Friday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-18 by the Eagles.

Cleveland lost the time of possession battle 31:59/28:01, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Philadelphia takes its act home to face New York looking for another win. For Cleveland, they head home to face Chicago.
