New England Falls 30-28 to Buccaneers - Recap

Tampa Bay earned a 30-28 victory over New England on Friday in Preseason Week 3 action at Raymond James Stadium.

Tampa Bay was the ATS victor, as they covered the 7-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 44.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Josh Freeman completed 10 of 19 pass attempts for 102 yards and 0 TDs for the Buccaneers in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Stevan Ridley rushed for 87 yards for New England, while Jeff Demps added 41 yards. Tom Brady threw for 127 yards for the Patriots, while receivers Aaron Hernandez and Donte' Stallworth had 52 and 40 yards respectively.

Tampa Bay lost the offensive yardage battle to New England 342-283 yards in Friday's game. New England had more first downs as that total ended up 22-16.

The time of possession battle favored Tampa Bay as their offense was on the field for 33:24, longer than the 26:36 of their opponents.

Tampa Bay looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Redskins. The Patriots will aim to get back on the winning track at New York.
