Recap - Rams Defeat Washington 31-28

St. Louis got 3 passing strikes from Sam Bradford en route to a 31-28 victory over Washington on Sunday in Week 2 action at Edward Jones Dome.

Bettors who backed the Rams were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as an underdog of 3.5 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 42.5.

Daryl Richardson rushed for 83 yards, while Steven Jackson added 58 yards in the win. Danny Amendola and Brandon Gibson added 160 and 53 receiving yards respectively.

Washington lost the offensive yardage battle to St. Louis 452-373 yards in Sunday's game. St. Louis had more first downs as that total ended up 23-18.

Washington lost the time of possession battle 31:24/28:36, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, St. Louis takes its act on the road to face Chicago looking for another win. For Washington, they head home to face Cincinnati.
