Detroit Falls 44-41 to Titans - Recap

Jake Locker's 378-yard performance through the air was the key in Tennessee's 44-41 win over Detroit on Sunday at LP Field.

Tennessee won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 4-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 47.5.

Jake Locker rushed for 35 yards, while Chris Johnson added 24 yards in the win. Nate Washington and Jared Cook added 112 and 77 receiving yards respectively.

Mikel LeShoure rushed for 100 yards for Detroit, while Joique Bell added 23 yards. Matthew Stafford threw for 278 yards for the Lions, while receivers Calvin Johnson and Titus Young had 164 and 75 yards respectively.

Tennessee was outgained by Detroit 583-437 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 36-21 by the Lions.

The time of possession battle favored Detroit as their offense was on the field for 40:36, longer than the 27:49 of their opponents.

Tennessee looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Texans. The Lions will aim to get back on the winning track vs Minnesota.
