Houston Defeats Denver 31-25 - Recap

Houston got 4 passing strikes from Matt Schaub en route to a 31-25 victory over Denver on Sunday in Week 3 action at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

The Texans were a 1.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 43.5.

Arian Foster rushed for 105 yards, while Ben Tate added 26 yards in the win. Kevin Walter and Andre Johnson added 73 and 72 receiving yards respectively.

Willis McGahee rushed for 36 yards for Denver, while Lance Ball added 16 yards. Peyton Manning threw for 330 yards for the Broncos, while receivers Eric Decker and Brandon Stokley had 136 and 73 yards respectively.

Denver lost the offensive yardage battle to Houston 436-375 yards in Sunday's game. Denver had more first downs as that total ended up 24-23.

Denver lost the time of possession battle 31:40/28:20, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Houston looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Titans. The Broncos will aim to get back on the winning track vs Oakland.
