Chargers vs Chiefs Final: 37-20 - Recap

Philip Rivers threw a pair of TD passes as San Diego defeated Kansas City 37-20 in Week 4 action on Sunday.

San Diego was the ATS victor, as they covered the 2-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 43.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Ryan Mathews rushed for 61 yards, while Jackie Battle added 39 yards in the win. Antonio Gates and Ronnie Brown added 59 and 50 receiving yards respectively.

Jamaal Charles rushed for 92 yards for Kansas City, while Cyrus Gray added 15 yards. Matt Cassel threw for 251 yards for the Chiefs, while receivers Dwayne Bowe and Jon Baldwin had 108 and 50 yards respectively.

Kansas City outgained San Diego 353-293 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 25-19 by the Chiefs.

San Diego led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:52/26:08 split in that important category.

Next game, San Diego takes its act on the road to face New Orleans looking for another win. For Kansas City, they head home to face Baltimore.
