Pittsburgh Defeats Philadelphia 16-14 - Recap

The Eagles came up short against the Steelers in Week 5 action on Sunday, falling 16-14 at Heinz Field.

Pittsburgh won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the 4-point spread. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 44.5.

Ben Roethlisberger completed 21 of 37 pass attempts for 207 yards and 0 TDs for the Steelers in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

LeSean McCoy rushed for 53 yards for Philadelphia, while Michael Vick added 16 yards. Michael Vick threw for 175 yards for the Eagles, while receivers DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin had 58 and 39 yards respectively.

Philadelphia was outgained by Pittsburgh 343-246 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-19 by the Steelers.

Pittsburgh led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:31/26:29 split in that important category.

Next game, Pittsburgh takes its act on the road to face Tennessee looking for another win. For Philadelphia, they head home to face Detroit.
