The battle between the Texans and Ravens didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Baltimore was handed a 43-13 defeat on Sunday at Reliant Stadium.
The Texans were a 6.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 47.5.
Matt Schaub completed 23 of 37 pass attempts for 256 yards and 2 TDs for the Texans in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Ray Rice rushed for 42 yards for Baltimore, while Joe Flacco added 7 yards. Joe Flacco threw for 147 yards for the Ravens, while receivers Torrey Smith and Dennis Pitta had 41 and 33 yards respectively.
Baltimore was outgained by Houston 420-176 yards in Sunday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 27-12 by the Texans.
Baltimore lost the time of possession battle 38:16/21:44, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Houston looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Bills. The Ravens will aim to get back on the winning track at Cleveland.
