Giants Down Washington 27-23 - Match Report

Eli Manning sliced and diced the Redskins defense for 337 yards and 1 TD as New York handed Washington a 27-23 defeat on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

New York did not, however, defeat the Redskins against the spread, which closed at 6.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 51.5.

Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 43 yards, while Andre Brown added 17 yards in the win. Victor Cruz and Martellus Bennett added 131 and 79 receiving yards respectively.

Alfred Morris rushed for 120 yards for Washington, while Robert Griffin III added 89 yards. Robert Griffin III threw for 258 yards for the Redskins, while receivers Logan Paulsen and Leonard Hankerson had 76 and 70 yards respectively.

New York lost the offensive yardage battle to Washington 480-393 yards in Sunday's game. Washington had more first downs as that total ended up 24-22.

Washington led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:43/27:17 split in that important category.

New York looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Cowboys. The Redskins will aim to get back on the winning track at Pittsburgh.
