Pittsburgh Defeats Cincinnati 24-17 - Recap

Jonathan Dwyer ran for 122 yards as Pittsburgh handled Cincinnati by a score of 24-17 on Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.

Pittsburgh won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the 1-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 47.5.

Ben Roethlisberger completed 27 of 37 pass attempts for 278 yards and 1 TD for the Steelers in the win. He was picked off 1 time by the Bengals defense.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis rushed for 69 yards for Cincinnati, while Mohamed Sanu added 7 yards. Andy Dalton threw for 105 yards for the Bengals, while receivers Ryan Whalen and Mohamed Sanu had 31 and 27 yards respectively.

Cincinnati lost the offensive yardage battle to Pittsburgh 431-185 yards in Sunday's game. Pittsburgh had more first downs as that total ended up 22-11.

The time of possession battle favored Pittsburgh as their offense was on the field for 37:30, longer than the 22:30 of their opponents.

Pittsburgh looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Redskins. The Bengals will aim to get back on the winning track vs Denver.
