Brett Clark, Marek Svatos, Milan Hejduk, Cody McCormick and Paul Stastny answered for the Avalanche. Andrew Raycroft made 15 saves in the win.
Simon Gagne scored on a penalty shot and Mike Richards added the other marker for the Flyers. Martin Biron made 25 saves in the loss.
