Penguins stop Hurricanes
The Pittsburgh Penguins scored four times in the third period to earn a 4-1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes Thursday night at Mellon Arena.
Pittsburgh won the game as -150 favorites, but the five goals went UNDER the night�s posted over/under (5.5).
Sidney Crosby scored on the power play, while Ruslan Fedotenko, Maxime Talbot and Evgeni Malkin added the other Pittsburgh goals. Marc-Andre Fleury made 24 saves for the win.
Brandon Sutter replied for the Hurricanes, and Michael Leighton stopped 31 shots in a losing effort.
