Hurricanes hold off Islanders

Chad Larose scored twice on Saturday night as the Carolina Hurricanes topped the New York Islanders by a final tally of 4-3.

The Hurricanes got the victory as -130 road favorites in this contest, while the combined score went OVER the night�s posted total (5.5).

Rod Brind�amour and Eric Staal had the other Canes goals in the win. Mark Streit, Freddy Meyer, and Sean Bergenheim tallied for the Islanders.
