Jeff Carter scored his second goal of the game with a power play marker at 4:37 of overtime to lift the Philadelphia Flyers past the New York Islanders 3-2 Thursday night at Wachovia Center.
Philadelphia won the game as -250 favorites, while the five goals went UNDER the posted over/under (5.5).
Mike Knuble potted the other goal for the Flyers. Martin Biron stopped 34 shots in the win.
Bill Guerin and Andy Hilbert scored for the Islanders, while Joey MacDonald stopped 25 shots in the loss.
