Darcy Tucker provided the only action in the Colorado Avalanche's 1-0 win over the Nashville Predators at Pepsi Center Saturday night.
The Avalanche won as -144 home favorites while the final score played well under the total of 5.5 goals.
Tucker scored his third of the season in the second period. Colorado goaltender Peter Budaj stopped all 26 shots to record his first shutout of the season.
Nashville keeper Dan Ellis allowed just the one goal on 20 shots from the Avs. The Predators suffered their third straight defeat with the loss.
