Flyers hold off Habs for road win
The Philadelphia Flyers escaped with a 2-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre Saturday night.
Philadelphia won as a +170 road underdog while the final score played under the total of 5.5 goals.
Forward Scottie Upshall deflected the game-winner past Jaroslav Halak in the second period. Center Jeff Carter also scored in the second period.
Montreal scored mid way through the third when Alex Tanguay notched his eighth goal of the season, but could not even the score down the stretch.
