The Pittsburgh Penguins erupted for four goals in the third period to down the Buffalo Sabres 5-2 at Mellon Arena Saturday night.
Pittsburgh won as a -157 home favorite while the final score played over the 5.5-goal total set by sportsbooks.
Jordan Staal scored twice for the Pens, with both goals coming in the final period. Alex Goligoski, Ruslan Fedotenko and Evgeni Malkin also scored for Pittsburgh. Malkin extended his 13-game point streak.
