Flyers come back to down Coyotes in OT

The Philadelphia Flyers scored a late goal and notched the overtime winner to down the Phoenix Coyotes 4-3 at the Wachovia Center Saturday.

Philadelphia won as a -160 home favorite. The final score played over the 5.5-goal total.

The Flyers forced overtime when Jeff Carter scored with a little over a minute remaining in the third. In the additional period, Mike Richards picked up his second point of the game with the game winner. Also scoring for Philly were Scott Hartnell and Mike Knuble.

The Coyotes took the lead late in the third on Todd Fedoruk's finish, but couldn't survive a late push from the Flyers. Phoenix also got goals from Daniel Carcillo and Martin Hanzal.
