Flyers fall to Maple Leafs in Toronto
The Toronto Maple Leafs snapped a five-game skid with a 4-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers at the Air Canada Centre Saturday night.
Toronto won as a -108 home favorite while the final score pushed with the 6-goal total set by oddsmakers.
The Leafs were lead by goaltender Vesa Toskala who earned first-star honors, making 28 saves in the win. Toronto got scoring from Lee Stempniak, Dominic Moore, Pavel Kubina and Nik Antropov, who scored on the powerplay.
Mike Richards notched both goals for the Flyers, who have now lost two in a row following a six-game winning streak.
