Spezza leads Sens over Pens
Jason Spezza was in the right place at the right time for his three goals, leading the Ottawa Senators to a 3-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins at Scotiabank Place Saturday afternoon.
Ottawa won set at -102 at home. The final score finished under the 5.5-goal total.
Spezza capitalized on some favorable bounces on two of his goals and banked his third goal off a defenseman's skate from behind the net to complete the hat trick.
Jordan Staal scored on the power play in the second period and got a late push from Evgeni Malkin, who scored a short-handed goal in the third period.
