Hurricanes edge Canadiens in OT

Eric Staal scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner in overtime Sunday, as the Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Montreal Canadiens 3-2.

The Hurricanes were a -175 favorite in the game and the five goals scored fell UNDER the posted over/under total (5.5).

Sergei Samsonov also scored for Carolina and Cam Ward made 26 saves in the win.

Matt D�Agostini and Robert Lang scored for Montreal, while Alex Tanguay collected a pair of assists.
