Bruins edged the Hurricanes

The Boston Bruins scored twice in the third period to pick up a 4-2 win over the Carolina Hurricanes at the RBC Center Saturday.

Boston won as a -148 road underdog while the final score played over the 5.5-goal total.

Blake Wheeler scored his 12th and 13th goals of the season in the win. Michael Ryder and Chuck Kobasew secured the victory with third-period goals.

Matt Cullen and Anton Babchuk scored for the Hurricanes. Carolina is now 9-9-1-0 at home this season.
